   The Windscribe Free desktop app’s interface can be challenging for beginners due to its complexity and the number of features available. The app can be set to automatically connect to the last location, or to select the fastest server at that time.

   The data transfer limit could pose a hurdle to regular use of Windscribe Free for video streaming. For unregistered users, the limit is 2 GB per month, which increases to 10 GB per month after providing an email address.

The application uses a small portion of the computer’s performance even when the VPN is turned off. So, if you are not connected for an extended period, you can completely disable the app.
